This is a favourite spot of mine in the Boggy Brae garden. It’s the moss mound that makes it so; along with the young red-flowering rhododendron that has never flowered yet because deer keep eating the shoots in spring (one year some of it will be tall enough to be out of their reach); along with the young oak at the fence just to the right of the lemon-scented fern that’s blowing in the wind; and along with the young Chilean Lantern tree  that’s growing up through the fern.
