In the autumn of 2014 and last spring, I cut back Grey Sallow and Spiraea from a corner of the garden (so that I could get to the corner!). First pic shows what it looked like last May; second pic this May. This stick on the right hand side of pic2 marks a young rowan. there are several up there, plus some beech tree seedlings as well, of course, as the new grass growth and foxgloves galore.
