Perforate (or Common) St.John’s-wort (Hypericum perforatum), growing in the mortar between bricks at the top of a wall. The plant has a 2-winged reddish stem and bunched stamens. Where the Boggy Brae’s plants differ from what the books say is that the flowers are 25-30mm across rather than 20.
